Welcome to the Peninsula Community Library
Peninsula Community Library (PCL) is a township library located on the beautiful Old Mission Peninsula in Northern Mighigan. The library is open to the public as a dual-use library within Old Mission Peninsula School.
The Peninsula Community Library's Mission is to serve all segments of a diverse rural community by providing access to information and support for personal enrichment in a friendly, welcoming environment.
PCL offers a collection of over 28,000 items including books, periodicals, audio books, dvds and music. Services include copier, fax, public internet work stations and wireless access. Our catalog and reference databases may be accessed through the Traverse Area District Library's Online Catalog. E-Books are also available through this link for those who live in the Traverse Area Distict Library's service area and hold valid library accounts. The Peninsula Community Library is a member of the Traverse Area District Library (TADL).
HOURS:
Monday and Thursday 9 am -9 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9 am -5:30 pm
Saturday 9 am - 1 pm (Closed on Saturdays in the summer)
Please note that when Traverse City Area Public Schools are closed due to weather, Peninsula Community Library is also closed.

Be sure to check out our TumbleBooks subscription, an online collection of animated, talking picture books for children that can be accessed from home. Just click on the icon on the left.
